IV International Agro-technological Conference, March 3-4, 2015, Rostov-on-Don, Russia


    With a support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation

In the work of the IV International Agro-technological Conference «AgroHighTech – XXI», held by the Russian Grain Union together with Schyolkovo Agrochim, with a support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and Administration of Rostov Region on March 3-4, 2015 in Rostov-on-Don (Russia) took part more than 120 representatives from 7 countries.

General partnership of the conference was provided by Schyolkovo Agrochim, sponsorship by KWS RUS and Rostselmash.

Within the conference agenda such issues as use of modern technology in crop production, main directions of technological modernization and introduction of innovations in the process of agricultural production were discussed.

March 3, 2015

At the conference opening took part Konstantin Rachalovsky, Minister of Agriculture of Rostov Region and Vyacheslav Vasilenko, Deputy Governor of Rostov Region.



Together with Arkady Zlochevsky, President of the Russian Grain Union in the first session, dedicated to results of the second year of implementation and evolution of the State program, took part Alexander Korbut, Vice-President of the Russian Grain Union, Konstantin Babkin, President of the Industrial Union Novoe Sodruzestvo, the leader of the Partiya Dela and Salis Karakotov, General Director of Schyolkovo Agrochim.



The second session was dedicated to the problems of technological modernization, innovations and competitiveness of production. The session was opened by Yelto Zimmer, Head of the Agricultural Research Institute of benchmarking rural areas, Forestry and Fisheries Germany who was invited by German-Russian agrarian and political dialogue. Mr Zimmer told in his report about technological and economic prospects of wheat production in Russia.

The session continued with the report by General Director of Schyolkovo Agrochim Salis Karakotov. In his report Mr Karakotov told about cost optimization in plant breeding using chemicals.

The session was continued by Andrey Alabushev, Director of Russian Research Institute of Kalinenko, Vyacheslav Lukomets, Director of Russian Research Institute of V.S. Pustovoyt, Russian Agricultural Academy and Alexey Shveytsov, Commercial Director of Combine Plant Rostselmash.



Third session Technological modernization how to get maximum revenue started with the report of Roman Ratnikov, Head of Crop Production Department, Chief Agronomist of EkoNiva Group of Companies who told about the prospects in plant breeding. The session was continued by Andrey Tarabrin, Coordinator in Omega-9 Oils Project in Russia.

The session was continued by Linne Fromm-Christiansen, Crop Production Director, Pravdinsk Pig Production, who was invited by the conference sponsor KWS RUS. The report on the effectiveness of soil-farming was presented by Alexander Zaginaylov, Specialist in Marketing, CNH Industrial Capital.

The final report was made by Nikolay Sorokin, Head of Russian Research Institute of Mechanics and Informatics of Agrichemical Provision in Agriculture.

Forth conference session covered problems of agricultural insurance and was lead by Evgeny Khrabskov, Managing Director in RSHB-Insurance.

The second conference day was continued by experts’ round table Grain market in the new season what to expect and what to sow? where took part President of the Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevsky, General Director of ProZerno Vladimir Petrichenko, President of Oil and Fat Union of Russia Yuri Morozov and Vice-President of SKAT Group of companies Vladimir Ivanenko.


IV International Agro-technological Conference AgroHighTech XXI finished by enthralling trip to Rostselmash Combine plant where the conference participants had the opportunity to test the machines and equipment!

In the mass media the onference was covered by such news agencies as Bloomberg, Reuters, RosBusinessConsulting, RBC-daily, as well as by the Rossiyskaya Gazeta, World Grain, etc. The TV-broadcasting was effected by regional channels.
